APERe, association for the promotion of renewable energies
The purpose of APERe is to promote renewable energies and the thoughtful use of energy in the framework of sustainable development. APERe was created in 1991 as an independant non profit-making organisation by several associations and research centres. Nowadays APERe exists with its own "effective members" and is backed up by individuals as "sympathizers" and firms from the renewable sector as "associated members". Through its realisations, APERe has acquired a large expertise in the sector of renewable energies. It is now part of a substantial network of Belgian and European governmental agencies and firms.
Information and consciousness-raising
A service of information answers questions, directs towards the qualified operators and proposes the consultation of documents. This services to the public is supported by the Walloon (energy division DGTRE) and the Brussels Regions (energy service IBGE). APERe publishes also a quarterly review (Renouvelle) and an e-letter (@PERe info). To subscribe APERe organises and frequently participates to animations and conferences related
